Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Head Offices: Kita-ku, Osaka City and Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto; hereinafter “DIS”) is pleased to announce that it has received the Appreciation for Excellent Partnership 2026 award at Partner Summit Japan 2026, held on July 17, 2026 and hosted by Chrome Enterprise and Google for Education. The award recognizes DIS’s contributions to Google for Education and to the advancement of Japan’s education sector.
Working in partnership with approximately 19,000 dealers across Japan, DIS has been working to develop ICT environments at educational institutions and to advance digital transformation in education.
In recent years in particular, with the second phase of the GIGA School Program in view, DIS has pursued the following on a nationwide scale, supporting local governments, boards of education, and schools in addressing the challenges they face:
- Expanding proposals for Google Workspace for Education
- Promoting wider adoption of Google GIGA License
- Developing learning environments built around Chromebook™
- Rolling out education DX packages that include security measures and operational support
DIS is also working to encourage and embed the use of ICT in educational settings by actively providing training and solutions support to dealers, led principally by its Education ICT Promotion Group.
Looking ahead, DIS will continue to support the development of environments that underpin learning for students and teaching staff alike through solutions built on Google for Education, while strengthening its partnerships with dealers nationwide and contributing to the further advancement of digital transformation in education.
