Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka City; Representative Director, President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto; below ‘DIS’) and Tsuzuki Denki Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Kazunori Yoshii; below ‘Tsuzuki Denki’) hereby announce that they have concluded a business partnership agreement (‘the Agreement’) aimed at enhancing market value through the creation of new business areas.
■Reason for the Business Partnership
DIS, in its mid-term management plan for fiscal 2024, has identified “Partner Relationships through DX Promotion” as one of its key strategies. In collaboration with approximately 19,000 domestic dealers, DIS has been meeting the diverse needs of its customers. For sustainable future growth, DIS is going beyond mere product offerings, and working to strengthen their capabilities in new service development, technical expertise, and solutions proposal power to support their partners. This is aimed at transforming into a new business model that combines various services, primarily cloud-based, with the latest technologies.
Since their founding in 1932, Tsuzuki Denki has provided their many customers with a wide range of ICT solutions, from consulting to design, development, construction, maintenance, and operation. And now, as the use of software and hardware shifts from on-premise to cloud-based, they are working to expand their cloud services. They also aim to improve profitability by ensuring efficiency in existing business areas such as product sales and system development. The two companies have agreed to conclude a business partnership agreement with the aim of improving corporate value by leveraging and combining DIS’s capability in procuring a wide range of products and services from approximately 1,400 domestic and overseas IT vendors, their logistics infrastructure that supports this volume of goods, and their partner support functions necessary for the transformation of subscription business models typified by cloud services, with Tsuzuki Denki’s track record of customer proposals and support that they have developed while working closely with approximately 20,000 customers since their founding, as well as the information and network-oriented expertise they have cultivated over the years.
Moving forward, DIS and Tsuzuki Denki will work together to expand their cloud service businesses, establish their presence in the market, build new partnerships in logistics and subscription service business, and develop new services and enhance organizational capabilities through the sharing of technology, knowledge, and resources.
■ Details of Business Partnership

By leveraging DIS’s support resources and capabilities in the mega-cloud domain, both companies will work to expand and develop Tsuzuki Denki’s cloud service business.
2. Creation of New Services and Added Value
