Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DIS; Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto) and Exa Enterprise AI (hereinafter referred to as Exa Enterprise AI; Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Takuma Oue), a company that offers generative AI services and products to improve the productivity of Japanese companies, have concluded a distributor agreement whereby they will collaborate on the marketing of generative AI services and products in the Japanese domestic market.

exaBase generative AI, which is a corporate ChatGPT service offered by Exa Enterprise AI, has been employed by more than 40,000 company users in Japan since its paid services were first marketed in June 2023. Founded on AI utilization based on many use cases and knowledge obtained through the education of more than 200,000 DX personnel, it has been contributing to customers’ business growth by utilizing generative AI to support the establishment of DX.

exaBase generative AI can be used in the highest security environments in Japan and is equipped with a data integration function that makes the specific operations of each company more effective by virtue of a technology called RAG. In addition, it has management and analysis functions including the capacity to visualize reduced business hours and specify operations that can be streamlined by automatically identifying usage scenarios and calculating the reduced hours.

As the number of users is expected to increase, we plan to offer GPT-4 Turbo, which can be used by domestic servers to increase stability and speed while maintaining security and make it possible for customers to select from multiple large-scale language models (LLM), including Claude 3 developed by Anthropic in the U.S., Google’s Gemini, and NTT Group’s tsuzumi.

DIS will deliver exaBase generative AI supplied by Exa Enterprise AI to users across Japan through approximately 19,000 dealers via a community-based sales network with 96 sales bases throughout Japan. DIS will also support digitalization and business reformation in Japanese companies and contribute to Japanese digital transformation. In addition, DIS will not only supply information and technological support related to products and solutions as a distributor, but also make strenuous efforts to spread services to partner companies and Japanese Small and Medium Business(es) while expanding their sales activities, education and support systems.
