AI inside Inc.
Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as DIS; Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto) has concluded a distributorship agreement for the Japanese market with AI inside Inc. (hereinafter referred to as AI inside; Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Taku Toguchi). From December 1, 2023, DIS will offer products developed by AI inside through iKAZUCHI, which is the subscription management portal operated by DIS.
Background
Japan currently has a tight labor shortage caused by a decrease in the productive-age population. As a result, changes in working practices, such as improving productivity and increasing the added value of operations, are being promoted. One of the technologies that has greatly helped to meet these challenges is AI-OCR (optical character recognition driven by artificial intelligence). Management of forms, such as invoices and receipts delivered on paper, as images, or as PDFs, is being streamlined by having AI read and digitalize the forms with a high degree of accuracy.
AI inside has gained top position* in the domestic market share by introducing its original AI-OCR service, “DX Suite,” into more than 2600 companies. The company has helped to improve productivity and reform working practices in many companies-mainly business enterprises. It has been constructing a system to broadly offer the DX Suite to more companies, including Small and Medium Business(es), with a view to solving the labor shortage.

Content of activities
To start offering DX Suite, DIS will publish it on iKAZUCHI, the subscription management portal operated by DIS for partners, on December 1, 2023. Because of the widely diverse nature of subscription-type cloud services, iKAZUCHI can reduce the number of person-hours required for order placement. It also enables the unified management of contractors and of continuous business stock operations such as monthly or yearly charges.
Before the launch of DS Suite on December 1, to increase the number of partners that agree to use the service, DIS will set up a booth for use by AI inside to exhibit the company’s products at DIS World in Himeji, to be held between November 8 and 9 in the city of Himeji, in Hyogo Prefecture.
On the future
AI inside is scheduled to add various new functions to DX Suite that utilize generative AI and to launch them successively as “DX Suite Extensions” from December 2023 onward. In addition, we are planning to offer new solutions that link various services offered by AI inside and SaaS (software as a service)-related products offered by DIS. Through these activities, we will not only expand the sales of DX Suite, which has the largest share of the domestic AI-OCR market, but also spread the business of generative AI.
