Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka, President: Hiroyuki Matsumoto, hereafter referred to as DIS) has concluded a partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services (hereafter referred to as AWS).
The agreement enables DIS to offer to the Japanese domestic market advanced cloud platforms and various other cloud services provided by AWS, as the first distributor in Japan.
In addition, as DIS’s iKAZUCHI subscription management portal can handle AWS’s cloud services, it is now possible to smoothly manage and operate accounts and the meter rate charge system.

Activities aimed at DX (digital transformation) and work-style reform are currently underway in the domestic IT market. At the same time, it has become imperative to formulate BCPs (business continuity plans) for natural disasters, and introduce telework environments as a measure to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. In light of this, the utilization of cloud computing in IT infrastructure is accelerating among users, regardless of location, business type, and size.
Through collaboration with AWS, one of the world’s leading cloud providers, DIS contributes to the development of social infrastructure capable of responding to the requirements of the digital age, and strengthening of the international competitiveness of Japanese companies, in addition to facilitating the shift to cloud computing in companies, local governments, and educational institutions across the country, through its community-based sales system, with a sales network of roughly 90 sales bases and 19,000 dealers covering every corner of Japan.
To this end, we will organize a sales support system, education support system, and service and support system for AWS, and let our traditional business transaction infrastructure handle AWS orders, as well as the charging and settlement of the meter rate charge system, etc. Through these activities, we will contribute to distributing AWS services among as many partner companies and users as possible.
