Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as DIS: Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Yoshihiro Nogami) has concluded a distributorship agreement with Supermicro Japan (the Japanese subsidiary of Super Micro Computer, Inc. (hereafter referred to as Supermicro) Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Country Manager: James Hsieh), and begun collaboration to offer Supermicro’s advanced server products, such as servers, storage, and GPU, in the Japanese market.

Today, with the spread of the Internet of Things (IoT), further reductions in IT-related costs are being sought, to keep pace with the growing sophistication of the cloud, data centers, artificial intelligence (AI), and analytics in Japanese industry. For this reason, increased processing ability and productivity has become a critical issue for all types and categories of business.
In light of this, DIS and Supermicro Japan are determined to offer high-value-added proposals that integrate and utilize Supermicro’s server products, which are characterized by superior cost advantage, operational efficiency, and scalability, to Japanese business enterprises.
Supermicro Japan will seek to expand its share in the Japanese domestic market through its collaboration with DIS, and promotes this collaboration with the aim of achieving sales of five billion yen over the next three years by increasing the sales and introduction of its server products. Supermicro Japan will actively sell its products to a wide variety of customers, through the more than 90 business bases that DIS operates to cover every corner of the country, by exploring the possibility of offering highly efficient data center operation, based on Supermicro’s Resource Saving Architecture, which can reduce the total cost of ownership (TCO) and total cost to the environment (TCE); as well as the possibility of offering hybrid cloud environment improvement.
