Daiwabo Information System begins offering Meraki Managed Service
- Supporting operations management of Cisco Meraki -

Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd.

Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as DIS: Head Office: Kita-ku, Osaka; President: Yoshihiro Nogami) now offers Meraki Managed Service, designed to provide bundled services including monitoring, operations, and maintenance of Cisco Meraki, the cloud-managed network product developed and marketed by Cisco Systems G.K. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and General Manager: Dave West). The service is offered through iKAZUCHI, the subscription management portal managed by DIS.

Cisco Meraki is a network product that allows for centralized management through the Cisco Meraki Dashboard, a cloud-managed platform provided by Cisco Systems. The “cloud-management function” performed by the dashboard can streamline the operations management of networks, such as large networks comprising a number of bases, or small-scale networks without administrators, regardless of the location and size of the organization.

By offering Meraki Managed Service, DIS aims to achieve three related ends: promoting to our users and dealers “new network operations management” utilizing the “cloud-management function” performed by Cisco Meraki; reducing the load involved in operations management of complicated networks, which has become a serious problem in many organizations; and contributing to the digital transformation (DX) in Japan. Utilizing the service will make it possible to operate networks and respond to communication failures in an active manner, in contrast to the passive responses that currently prevail. As a result, it is possible to provide a network environment where users can stably and effortlessly utilize data communications that rapidly expand due to cloud utilization.

At the same time, DIS promotes the expansion of the cloud business while energizing the market in collaboration with dealers.
