Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. ('DIS' below; Head Office in Kita-ku, Osaka; President Yoshihiro Nogami) has signed a distributor agreement with Nokia Solutions & Networks G. K. ('Nokia' below; Head Office in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President John Harrington). This agreement, a part of Nokia Global Channel Partner Program, enables DIS to sell Nokia products and solutions to about 19,000 sales partners in Japan.
Nokia develops and sells an end-to-end portfolio, including optical, IP routing, LTE and other wireless networking products and solutions, and has been extensively deployed by Japanese and overseas carriers.
DIS has sales offices throughout Japan from Hokkaido to Okinawa. DIS's strengths are to provide services and support that are closely tied to the local community, and to be a visible and involved distributor as it serves customers in every region of the country.
As the fourth industrial revolution accelerates, companies in the vertical industries, such as transportation, electricity, the public sector and manufacturing, are leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in efforts to innovate with new business models. In this environment, Nokia is focusing on developing products and providing solutions and services that flexibly meet the needs of customers across industry sectors by strengthening cooperation with sales partners and expanding sales channels.
With its numerous offices in Japan and proven performance, DIS can use its role as a distributor to contribute to the adoption of IoT by customers across industry sectors.
