Notice of Co-sponsorship of the 30th "Firelit Noh Play at Osaka Castle" |
July 28, 2010 |
As part of our cultural and social contribution program, Daiwabo Information System will co-sponsor the 30th "Firelit Noh Play at Osaka Castle" organized by the Yomiuri Shimbun. At this event, Noh and Kyogen plays are performed against the background of Osaka Castle's keep, which is floodlit. Drawing about 3000 visitors annually, this is regarded as one of Japan's most notable firelit Noh play performances, in terms of both content and scale. This year features dramatic works suitable for commemorating the 30th anniversary of this cultural event. They are the representative Noh play "Okina," the popular Noh play "Ataka," which is the basis of the "Kanjincho" (one of the 18 best Kabuki plays), and the Kyogen play "Moraimuko," which is in the Ohkura style. These plays will make the 30th anniversary truly memorable. |
