Notice of Co-sponsorship of the 29th "Firelit Noh Play at Osaka Castle" |
July 7, 2009 |
As part of our cultural and social contribution program, Daiwabo Information System will co-sponsor the 29th "Firelit Noh Play at Osaka Castle" organized by the Yomiuri Shimbun. At this event, Noh and Kyogen plays are performed against the background of Osaka Castle's keep, lit up with floodlights. Drawing about 3,000 visitors annually, it is regarded as one of Japan's most notable firelit Noh play performances, both in content and scale. This year, the 29th, is a collaboration with Nara Prefecture's cultural project designed to conserve Yoshino's famous cherry trees. Dramatic works that center on the Yoshino area, such as the Noh plays "Yoshinoshizuka" and "Taniko," and the Kyogen play "Hagidaimyo," will be performed. |
