June 25, 2007 |
As part of our cultural and social contribution program, Daiwabo Information System will co-sponsor the "World's Largest Exhibition of the Pterosaur - Ruler of the Sky in the Jurassic Period", to be held under the auspices of Asahi Shimbun. Featuring the Pterosaur, a flying reptile, this exhibition is the first and only substantial one of its kind in the world and is scheduled to be held at the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural and Human History, in Kitakyushu, between 7 July and 2 September. It will exhibit Quetzalcoatlus, which had a wingspan of 11.5 meters - the world's largest pterosaur - and will explore the ecology of this interesting and mystery-shrouded flying “sky monster”. The exhibition will also be held in five other cities - Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagasaki, Aichi, and Tokyo - over the 13 months until the end of the 2008 summer vacation. |
