DIS System Trading Co. Ltd makes a sales agency contract with Japan Cisco Systems K.K. |

DIS System Trading Co., Ltd. (President: Magosaburo Fujihara, Capital: 316 million yen, DST in short) building up a basic network system, the group enterprise of Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (President: Mitsuru Yokoyama) has recently concluded a primary sales agency contract with a leading vendor of network equipment "Japan Cisco Systems K.K. Co., Ltd." (President: Yasuki Kurosawa, Capital: 222 million yen). DST becomes the first distributor of the products of Japan Cisco Systems K.K. in Japan. |
Rapid growth of network market is expected in the Japanese market as well. At this opportunity of concluding the contract, DST having both of sales strength by distribution and network technology is going to directly sell the network products of Cisco, one of the world leading companies in this field, to the end-users as well as to the re-sellers, and also positively operating at nationwide stores of Daiwabo Information System, thereby more deeply entering into the small-to-medium enterprise market. With the contract for a background, DST is intending to develop a new solution market with the server business know-how so far cultivated by DST and in addition the new generation network proposing business of Cisco. To achieve the purpose, DST is planning to obtain 300 re-sellers by opening the solution seminars for re-sellers and end-users by about 100 times in the initial year. Incidentally, the sales target based upon the current sales agency contract is 10 billion yen in three years from the initial year. |
