The inspection organization is Japan Audit and Certification Organization for Environment and Quality (JACO) Co., Ltd. and the decision was made at the judgment meeting on May 26, 1999. The range of certification includes the head office control section and the main distribution centers, Kanto Center and Kobe Center. |
DIS Logistics Co., Ltd.. is a distribution center specialized in information equipment, which supports the quick-delivery system of Daiwabo Information System Group (DIS Group) by its computer-controlled automation system and the distribution centers located at 13 spots in the whole country. The company has been endeavoring to realize transport energy saving, electric power saving, reduction of waste, OA paper and packaging materials under the slogan of environment and harmony. DIS Group putting up the measure for environmental protection as its basic policy in 1998 has been promoting "paperless" by introducing the DIS network, offering services to the electronic manifest system (JWNET) and pollution-free recycle system (Nodiless) as well as OA paper recycling, and obtained this time the certification for the first time. For the protection of global environment, we consider that it is important for each enterprise to take proper measure for environmental protection as a corporate obligation.
