(hereafter referred to as DIS ; Head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Yoshihiro Nogami) has begun selling the Cisco Meraki series of products, which centrally manage network operations involving multiple bases using the cloud service. Cisco Meraki is marketing cloud-based products that centrally manage the setup and system security of network devices, such as the "Cisco Meraki MR series" wireless LAN access point, the "Cisco Meraki MX series" security appliance, and the "Cisco Meraki MS series," which enables centralized switch management. Incorporation of these products allows effective, cloud-based management of network devices installed by companies in their bases, and reduces network management operation load. At the same time, smartphones can be managed by the Cisco Meraki portfolio, as mobile device management (MDM) functionality is provided for free.
