| Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as DIS; Head office: Osaka; President: Yoshihiro Nogami) will begin selling Lenovo’s new tablet, “YOGA Tablet 2”, supporting SIM-lock free high-speed LTE data communication, in early December 2014, in alliance with Lenovo Japan Limited (hereafter referred to as Lenovo; Head office: Tokyo; President : Roderick Lappin). The tablet boasts superior radio wave reception, even over wide areas and inside buildings, because it supports high-speed LTE communication (maximum reception rate: 150 Mbps*1, 2) and access to the FOMA plus area. An original model that includes a SIM card for high-speed data communication, provided by DIS-affliated MVNO operators, is scheduled to be released at the end of December 2014. On the YOGA Tablet 2 Highly portable tablets are typically used for a wide variety of functions, such as following news or weather forecasts, listening to music, playing videos, reading electronic books, operating navigation systems, studying maps, game play, or social networking. However, blade tablets are tiring to hold in the hand for long periods, and awkward to rest on the knees or desk because the viewing angle cannot be changed freely.
