Notice of Partial Amendment of the Articles of Incorporation

We agreed at the board of directors meeting held on May 22, 2008 to submit the following resolution relating to a partial amendment of our articles of incorporation to the 26th regular shareholders meeting scheduled for June 27, 2008.

1.	Objectives of the amendment
	(1) To establish new articles for inside directors and outside directors alike to enable them to conclude an agreement with a liability limit so that they can play their expected roles effectively. (Articles 27 and 34 of the proposed amendment) We have already obtained consent from all auditors on the resolution to submit Article 27 of the proposed amendment to the said the regular shareholders meeting. (2) To revise the article numbers to correspond to the establishment of new articles.
2.	Contents of the amendments to the articles of incorporation
	The contents of the amendments are as follows: (Underlined parts indicate amendments.) Current articles of incorporation Proposed amendment Chapter 4: Directors and board of directors Chapter 4: Directors and board of directors (Newly-established article) (Agreement on liability limitation of outside directors) Article 27:  In accordance with Item 1 of Article 427 of "Corporate Law," we can conclude an agreement that limits the liability stipulated in Item 1 of Article 423 of "Corporate Law" with outside directors. The limit of liability is the pre-specified value set at higher than ¥10 million or the minimum liability specified by the law, whichever is the greater. Chapter 5: Auditors and board of auditors Chapter 5: Auditors and board of auditors Article 27 - Article 32 (Texts are omitted.)
