Daiwabo Information System provided Effissimo Capital Management Pte Ltd. (hereafter 'Effissimo') with a list of required information in response to the procedure for requesting information disclosure that we published in "Notice of Introduction of the Procedure to Request Information Disclosure for Purchase of Our Stocks." We received a response letter from Effissimo about the list of required information (hereafter 'the response') on January 4, 2008. (Please refer to press release of January 7, 2008.) We closely examined the response and discussed whether the information submitted by Effissimo is necessary and sufficient for us to form an opinion and for our shareholders to reach a fair judgment, and what additional information we should ask Effissimo to provide if the submitted information is insufficient, giving serious consideration to the opinions of the independent committee. As a result of the examination and discussion, we reached the opinion that the submitted information is insufficient for us to form an opinion formation and for our shareholders to reach a fair judgment (the submission of the required information is incomplete), and we inform Effissimo today that we require addition information in writing.
