to Provide Integrated PC/Internet Services
|DIS Technical Service Co., Ltd. (based in Osaka; Kanji Kato, President and CEO), a group company of Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (based in Osaka; Mitsuru Yokoyama, President and CEO), has entered into a partnership with Yokogawa Multimedia Co., Ltd. (based in Musashino-shi, Tokyo; Yuichi Kanekawa, President and CEO) to provide Internet support services. DIS Technical Service provides comprehensive support services relative to personal computers and the Internet.|
|With the boom in the use of personal computers and the Internet, there
has been an increasing demand for PC support services for novice users who
intend to buy a PC and use it mainly to exchange e-mail over the Internet
or who would like to master word-processing and spreadsheet applications.
A number of companies have entered the PC support services field to fill this need, and competition in the industry is now intense, with customers demanding a wider variety of services, including a range of support options, and a choice of locations and times for the desired services.
DIS Technical Service has entered into a pertonership with Yokogawa Multimedia to strengthen its support capabilities and offer integrated PC and Internet services.
DIS Technical Service brings such a strong background in year-round PHONEephone support services as fielding an average of some 15,000 calls per month.
Yokogawa Multimedia Co., Ltd. a subsidiary of Yokogawa Electric Corporation, has built a successful business in the domestic Japanese market as an Internet service provider, and as a supplier of personal computers to users nationwide. The company has succeeded in signing up more than 4,000 subscribers per month to its Internet service.
Through this business collaboration, we can offer a broader range of support services from PHONEephone support and PC installation to Internet link and maintenance services across the country. The DIS and Yokogawa partnership offers the best integrated service system in the PC support industry.
Looking to the future, the new partnership of PC support giants intends to capture more than half on the major domestic PC support market in PHONEephone support, PC installation, and on-site maintenance services.
