| "DIS LOGISTICS CO., LTD. (Head Office: in Osaka, CEO: Mitsuru Yokoyama), one of the group enterprises of DAIWABO INFORMATION SYSTEM CO., LTD. (CEO: Mitsuru Yokoyama) and specialized in the information equipment, and NEC Logistics, LTD. (Head Office: in Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shoji Uemura) will transfer function of Sapporo Center (Sapporo, Hokkaido) of DIS LOGISTICS to NEC LOGISTICS Hokkaido Branch (Sapporo, Hokkaido) in this May to operate business utilizing the latter's facilities and the signing ceremony of agreement by them will be held at 4:00 p.m. February 9(Wednesday)coming. |
Both companies, starting "Cooperative project" from February, have devised
to execute the efficient distribution and decrease expenses by the jointly effective
utilization of assets possessed by themselves relating to distribution and transport/distribution
etc. With expansion of custody business of DIS LOGISTICS Sapporo Center,
the warehouse of NEC Logistics Hokkaido branch (about 3,500m
partly used by them as their external warehouse) is assigned for further mutual
effective utilization of their assets.In addition, the cooperative business such as the joint transport and distribution etc already carried out in Sapporo will construct further intimate relationship in the whole district of Hokkaido and the similar cooperative business will be developed all over the country to offer the more effective service to the consignor.
