|Notice of co-sponsorship of the special exhibition, “Space Brothers”,
at The Museum of Kyoto
|July 15, 2014|
|As part of our cultural and social contribution program, Daiwabo Information System will co-sponsor the special exhibition, “Space Brothers”, hosted by the Yomiuri Shimbun.
The Japanese manga (comic) “Space Brothers” has attracted widespread attention, with more than 14 million copies in print. As the first large-scale exhibition devoted to the “Space Brothers”, the exhibition displays roughly 200 impressive original handwritten drawings by Chuya Koyama, the author of “Space Brothers.” At the same time, it introduces a wide range of valuable material, including the background of animation production, such as designing storyboards and planning set images, and newly-arrived storyboards for the animation film “Space Brothers #0”, coming out this summer. Visitors can enjoy a host of exhibits exploring every aspect of this animated classic.
