As part of our cultural and social contribution program, Daiwabo Information System will cosponsor "Masterpieces from the Collection of the Kunstmuseum Winterthur of Switzerland - A Hidden Treasure House of European Modern Fine Arts" organized by the Yomiuri Shimbun.

Winterthur, a small city in Switzerland with a high level of culture, is famous for many fine arts collected by wealthy people. The Kunstmuseum Winterthur (Winterthur Museum of Art), housed in one of the major buildings in the city, is proud of its excellent collection of high-quality works that offers visitors a wide overview of modern and contemporary European fine arts.

In this exhibition, masterpieces of the Kunstmuseum Winterthur's collection that have never before been shown together overseas will be exhibited on a large scale. All 90 of these works will be exhibited for the first time in Japan. They include pieces by such masters as Delacroix, Corot, Monet, Pissarro, Renoir, van Gogh, and Redon, as well as outstanding works from Swiss and German museums by such artists as Hodler and Giacometti.
