|Daiwabo Information System Begins Selling Monthly Fixed-rate “Microsoft Office 365”
– Strengthening the sales and support system to expand its cloud market –
|Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (hereafter referred to as DIS; Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Yoshihiro Nogami) will participate in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (hereafter referred to as CSP) program on July 21. This program allows us to sell the Microsoft monthly fixed-rate cloud service through our dealers nationwide, enabling us to propose the optimal cloud solution for individual users by combining the Microsoft cloud service with cloud-related services we currently handle, and to provide services such as optimal solution management and support, in order to expand our role in the cloud market.
Actively committed to developing the highly promising capabilities of the cloud, we handle and sell a wide range of annual license cloud products from manufacturers worldwide, including Microsoft Office 365. Cloud introduction is increasing as the cloud’s visibility increases among dealers and users. Our decision to participate in the CSP program enables us to meet customer requests for a monthly fixed-rate cloud service. Taking advantage of this opportunity to expand our cloud business, we will construct a system to combine annual license cloud products with our existing cloud service, for the benefit of our dealers, as a supplier of cloud products.
We will establish a pre-purchase consultation desk to assist dealers in handling the cloud service, and a post-purchase support center; thus providing dealers with integrated and consistent service from pre-sale to post-introduction.
At the same time, dealers can propose to their users the paid “Office 365 Introduction Support Service”, which supports operations, and the paid “Nobiru-kun” extended warranty service, which provides warranty protection for hardware such as PCs and tablets for up to five years. In addition, we will construct a system to provide users with integrated service, which includes selling packages that combine a chosen cloud service with existing products of ours, such as tablet, SIM-Unlocked terminal, WiMAX, and LTE line services, in collaboration with our dealers.
We will launch a portal exclusively devoted to cloud business, toward January 2016, and expand our service that allows integrated sales and management of our products from hardware to cloud, to establish ourselves as an integrated cloud service provider.
Given the opportunity to sell the Microsoft monthly fixed-rate cloud service, we aim to increase the total number of our dealers to 1,500 companies by the end of fiscal 2018.
■Recruitment of dealers for the cloud service business

Daiwabo Information System has extensive experience as an authorized Microsoft distributor; and by participating in the cloud solution provider (CSP) program that Microsoft has begun to market worldwide, Daiwabo Information System can now sell an integrated DIS cloud service that provides a wide range of cloud products and devices at once—a service in great demand among dealers. We are certain that the integrated DIS cloud service will result in Microsoft cloud services, including Office 365, being adopted by many small- and medium-sized companies.
■Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program
This is a new type of business format, which allows dealers to provide Microsoft cloud service to their users, integrating it with their own services through reselling, subscription provision, invoicing, and support.
As it enables the resale of Microsoft’s group of cloud products, including Office 365, with a monthly fee, dealers will be able to combine services, including maintenance and various services offered by DIS, with monthly fixed-rate products, and sell these in the form of a package product.
We aim to establish a channel involving as many dealers as possible, and assist the dealers in offering integrated and consistent service throughout their interaction with customers, such as maintaining existing customers, contract renewal, and product support.
