|Daiwabo Information System Co., Ltd. (abbreviated "DIS"; head office: Chuo-ku, Osaka, President: Hirokazu Matsumoto) has added environmental information required for green purchases (purchases of environmentally friendly products) to its business-to-business electronic commerce system iDATEN.|
|Recently, DIS added environmental information
to the product information of its business-to-business
electronic commerce system iDATEN, which connects
computer and peripheral device dealers over the
Internet. The environmental information allows
purchasers to confirm that a product is environmentally

The new environmental information can be used as one of the search criteria when a user performs a product search. This will allow purchasers to avoid spending time investigating whether each product is environmentally friendly, making it easier to execute green purchases.

Initially, environmental information has been registered under the search categories of Computers, Displays, and Printers. Later, environmental information will also be added to the categories of Peripheral Equipment, Household Electronics, and Expendables.
In keeping with our hitherto aggressive stance regarding environmental issues, DIS acquired ISO 14001 certification on June 25 of this year and we will strive to contribute to society by practicing continuous improvement and conducting corporate activities that promote global environmental conservation.
